Gelatin Methacrylate (GelMA): Versatile Bioink for Tissue Engineering

Gelatin Methacrylate (GelMA) is a widely used bioink designed to support tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. Available in two convenient formats, GelMA provides flexibility for researchers:

  • Lyophilized Sponge (1g): This sterile, freeze-dried GelMA offers a stable, long-lasting format, ideal for researchers who wish to customize bioink concentration and select their preferred photoinitiator. It provides ultimate control over bioink properties, making it well-suited for labs focused on fine-tuning experimental conditions.

  • Ready-to-Use GelMA Bioink (GelMA 10%, LAP 0.25%, 10mL): This pre-formulated, sterile bioink streamlines the bioprinting process with a ready-to-print solution, featuring a standardized GelMA concentration with LAP photoinitiator. It is perfect for direct application in 3D bioprinting and ensures consistent results with minimal preparation.

Both formats promote cell viability and adhesion, making them essential tools for creating 3D cell cultures and complex tissue models with enhanced biological relevance. TissueLabs' GelMA has a gel strength of 300 Bloom and a degree of methacrylation of 80%, optimized for stability and effective crosslinking.
